Meet and Become an Angel

Who We Are:

We are a team of more than 20 volunteers.  We are 100% funded by donations and every dollar goes toward feeding a person.  Angels Kitchen recognized the need for a mobile soup kitchen in the early days of the pandemic, March, 2020.  The number of humans eating out of the garbage and asking for food increased exponentially overnight, when we went into lockdown because of Covid-19.  Hundreds were immediately out of work and without any social programs or safety nets to help.  Many folks were slipping through the cracks as for various reasons, they were unable to access local charities that had stepped up to provide staples like eggs, beans, tortillas, etc.  

What We Do:

We provide a complete daily meal to anyone in need, no questions asked.  We serve our guests in the main square in the centre of Puerto Vallarta at City Hall.  Breakfast consists of something healthy and hot,  for example egg and bean burritos, a piece of fruit, water or other healthy beverage and a substantial snack such as rice pudding.  To date we have served over 30 000 meals.

Yes.  We are feeding our fellow humans a meal.  And so much more.  Every single person that joins us for breakfast feels loved, welcomed, seen, heard, valued, supported and appreciated.  This is our mission and we plan to continue to provide this service for as long as it is needed.  We continue to practice selfless service in solidarity.  We are together in this.  Together we have created a beautiful community!
